Hello, I am making memories in Jeju island with my three babies.
I couldn't go abroad due to the covid-19, and I decided Jeju lsland as the alternative, but these days, I am enjoying the charm of Jeju lsland every day.
I often see foreigners these days, and I am curious about what kind of information they are traveling with. I hope that my blog will be useful for you in Jeju island.

There is an old proverb

Horses go to Jeju and People go to Seoul

I Sidol ranch

I sidol ranch

Address : 53, Sannoknam-ro, Hallim-eup, Jeju-si
Entrance fee : Free

Irish priest Patrick James, who came to Jeju Island in April 1954, opened a ranch in November 1961 to lay the foundation for self-reliance for poor Jeju residents. This place is more known as a Catholic holy land than a ranch.

Cteshphon

It is said that the architectural style of Teshphon 2000 years ago originated in Baghdag, Iraq. and It is said that the two Teshphon buildings that remain only in Jeju Island in Korea will become a nationally registered cultural property. It is interesting that an Irish priest built Iraqi architecture on Jeju Island, South Korea.

Jeju Island Culture Story Made of Stone

Geum Neung Seokmulwon

Address: 176 Hallim-ro, Hallim-eup, Jeju-si
Entrance fee (Parking fee): 2,000 KRW

Jeju island is called Samdado, and Samdado means a lot of stones, wind and women. Perhaps that is why there are many statues made of stone in Jeju island. When you come here, you can see many stone statues that express Jeju's culture. Although I am the same Korean, it is unfamiliar cultures for me.

Works of art created by nature

Sanbangsan Mountain Yongmoeri Beach

Address: 112-3, Sagye-ri, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo-si
Entrance fee: 2,000 KRW

Yongmeori Coast is a name that resembles the head of a dragon entering the sea. On the right side of the coast is a soft black sand beach. Nature does not always allow humans to enter the coast. You can only enter at low tide.

You must wonder why there is a ship on the place, Hamel's ship was wrecked in 1653 and landed here. in commemoration of this, monuments and ships were displayed here.

The picture in below is the traces of lava. if you visit this place, you can see the information in details.
Because Jeju Island is a volcanic island, you can easily find traces of volcanoes. I think that Jeju Island is not only an asset of Korea, but an asset of the world.
